🚔 New Ash Green Drug and Vehicle Seizure

Following reports from residents of two males using nitrous oxide and causing a nuisance in New Ash Green on Sunday 16 August, officers carried out an area search and located two vehicles matching the description around the pavilion car park entrance.

Both vehicles and occupants were detained and searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. Officers recovered 12 canisters of nitrous oxide and a quantity of ketamine.

Further checks revealed one silver van was being driven without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence. The vehicle was seized, along with all drugs recovered, and the driver was reported for both the drug and driving offences and will be required to appear before court.

Local officers have increased patrols in the area and will continue carrying out proactive work to identify and deal with anyone involved in drug taking or drug dealing in our communities.
